Internationally known illusionist – and hometown girl – Charlotte Pendragon will perform at The Barn Theater in Porterville September 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 7:30pm, and September 13, 14, 21 and 22 at 2:15pm.
Pendragon has been awarded some of the most coveted titles in magic, including being twice named winner of the “Magician of the Year” Award by the Academy of Magical Arts, home of the Magic Castle in Hollywood. She has been stunning audiences worldwide, including performances for President Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, the Prince of Wales and the Royal Family of Monaco.
She has starred and been featured in over 14 prime time magic specials on NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, PBS, Disney, Showtime, The Family Channel, VH1, E Entertainment and on CNN’s “Showbiz Today,” as well as starring in Disney’s magic TV special, which aired worldwide.
The show features several new magic effects, including her own version of making at least a dozen rabbits appear out of nowhere, and a daring new twist of the illusion she helped make famous, the metamorphosis, which she holds a world record in The Guinness Book of World Records. Joining her on stage is Randy and the Ragrunts, “The World’s Most Unique Singing Trio,” featuring the original music and puppet wizardry of Randy Lessley. Following each matinee performance will be Charlotte’s Magic School for Kids where children 12 and under who attend the school will receive a free gift.
