Part One of the exhibition includes displays of a history of Tulare Lake before and after the mid-1800s; issues about, and the resolution of, the allocation of Kings River water, pioneer families, the Mussel Slough tragedy, Lacey Milling Company and early farm implements.
Hundreds of visitors have come to see these great exhibits, including visitors to Downtown Hanford, the agriculture community, open house guests and school groups.
Part Two opens on September 12th and will feature displays on issues facing agriculture today including groundwater management, sustainable farming practices, pest control, and community groups involved in agriculture.
