You just said it; unaccountable mismanagement of coffers from the state to the city of Tulare, and the fix, lets “simply” vote to increase taxes again. Not to mention, in a state with one of the higest taxation rate in the nation. That makes alot of sense. No regrets – no thanks!

The city’s budget is balanced. The State is dead broke and in a deficit, so how are you going to get money from them? Delay is what has caused Tulare infrastructure such as road to crumble. The hospital is its own district and has nothing to do with the city.

If Tulare does not pass this measure, residents will begin to see cuts to services and will regret not passing such a simple increase.

No thanks, figure out how to balance your budget, get more state funding, or continue to delay. Or here is an idea, assess all the new houses. Because there is no accountability in this measure and no guarantees. It is a money grab. Your road infrastructure is a perfect example of how Tulare officials are accumulatively failing the community. The hospital vote was a mistake, lets not make another.
