The grandmother made 10 calls to CWS in one day...I repeat 10! (per LA Times article). The lack of accountability by CWS had nothing to do with funding. It was negligence...plain and simple. We were under a shelter in place order and CWS staff were taking advantage of the time away from the office and not doing their job. I saw it first hand with my neighbor (CWS worker) who spent a bulk of each day outside with her children instead of doing her job. A travesty indeed! In reply to Colette West.
