Thumbs up to Supes for recognizing realtors’ 100th anniversary

Thumbs Up to the Tulare County Board of Supervisors for recognizing members of the Tulare County Association of Realtors with a special Resolution honoring the Realtors 100th Anniversary at the Supervisors weekly meeting Tuesday in Visalia.

Chairperson Amy Shuklian and all five members of the Board presented the Realtors Executive committee and Executive Director Bret Taylor the coveted Resolution which praised the County real estate association for always fighting to protect private property rights, steadfastly supporting America’s Fair Housing Laws, fighting to support the San Joaquin Valley agricultural industry with the “Right-to-Farm” local option and urging city governments to pass ordinances protecting our beloved Valley Oak Trees.

The resolution especially noted all members of the Tulare County Association of Realtors are required to complete the Code of Ethics Classes and 45 hours of continuing education classes every four years to renew their California Real Estate License to help protect consumers.

The Supervisors urged Realtors to continue helping first-time buyers, residential homeowners, commercial businesses, and Valley Farmers and Ranchers in all their real property hopes and dreams in Tulare County.

To continue to celebrate their 100th Anniversary the Real Estate Association has joined with Superintendent of Tulare County Schools Tim Hire and the Times Delta Newspaper to conduct a countywide 500-word essay contest this fall for all the high school students throughout Tulare County. The subject will be the value of owning a home, living and raising a family in Tulare County.

To celebrate the Realtors 100th Anniversary, the essay contest winner will receive ten $100 dollar bills from Vero Mortgage, a division of County Club Mortgage in Visalia.
