They've been going downhill ever since they sold their souls to the "Moral Majority" in the 80's. Maybe starting before that - check out what Goldwater was saying about them in the decades before. In the 90's they latched onto Clinton's infidelities' while most of them lambasting him were cheating on their wives at the same time. Then they latched onto the TeaBaggers with their usually misspelled signs. Now they've hit what must (hopefully) be rock-bottom with Trump. Of course, I should be careful about that, because every time I've thought they couldn't go any lower they prove me wrong. Has the Republican party just given up on speaking the truth?
