<p>According to his handler, DASH is groggy but displaying big puppy dog eyes and is in recovery mode. The Kings County Sheriff&#8217;s Office considers DASH a hero who undoubtedly saved the lives of deputies and officers on scene.</p>
<p>The Sheriff&#8217;s Office has greatly appreciated all the public&#8217;s support to include phone calls and prayers during this difficult time for the Sheriff&#8217;s Office K-9 Unit.</p>
