The Valley Voice is your local newspaper, based in Visalia, California.

The Voice covers the cities of Visalia, Tulare and Hanford, California, and news across the communities in Tulare and Kings Counties.

The original Valley Voice began publication in 1979, before shutting its doors in December 2011. For more on the history of the Voice, click here.

Joseph Oldenbourg and Catherine Doe resumed publication of the paper under The Valley Voice, LLC in June of 2013, when the first issues hit racks across the two counties.

The Voice is currently distributed across the cities of Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, Lemoore, Exeter, Lindsay, Three Rivers, and Porterville on the first and third Thursday of each month.
