Local business leader, Alii Azizuddin has joined the Kings County Sheriff’s Office and the Kings County Sheriff’s Foundation to establish a dedicated Emergency Assistance Fund designed to support active-duty deputies and their families during times of unexpected financial hardship.
The initiative provides rapid, confidential, and direct financial assistance to deputies facing unforeseen crises—ensuring help is available when it is needed most, without delay or burden.
Believed to be the first initiative of its kind in Kings County, the Emergency Assistance Fund represents a new model of collaboration between civic leadership and public service—one that extends support beyond the workplace and into the lives of those who serve.
Through this partnership, those values are translated into a tangible local commitment—directly supporting the men and women who serve Kings County and the families who stand behind them.
The Emergency Assistance Fund will be administered through the Kings County Sheriff’s Foundation, ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of all contributions.
