How about opening dispensaries already and using those tax for recreation and other things that’s the number one way you can find the parks aquatic center you name it but for some reason this city council does not want to even open up dispensaries. It’s working for Woodlake and other cities. Time to open up dispensaries and text the heck out of them so money stays here and is used wisely on things like recreation and parks.

I never hear mention of other tax increases when we haven't been able to find a way to fund a new hospital that meets the current earthquake codes.

The city council seems to be all about growth. Judging by the huge number of homes being built, the developers must be getting really good deals. They are the ones who should be paying for parks. Longtime citizens should not be expected to pay for growth they don't even want.
