As a nurse for over 28 years, it’s sickening to see these nurses totally disregard patient safety. They should never be allowed to work in healthcare again and should be stripped of their nursing licenses. I hope they are reading these comments because they should feel ashamed of themselves!
I’m very proud of Kevin for exposing Kaweah and their incompetent nurses! I’m sure this isn’t the first time this has happened and Kaweah needs to be held accountable as well.

I to am a former employee. Worked there for 10 years and witnessed a lot of fraudulent billing, racism, and incompetence leadership. It come to light when the last whistle blower (medical records manager). If you spoke up about their wrong doing, you are looked up as the troubled employee and nix picked at daily. I witnessed supervisor Ashley Haun manipulating employees time card if they sent to Starbucks for her. Celina Rodriguez belittling employees. France Carrera and Chris Rodriguez fraudulently billing and getting audited by Medicare and manipulating records to avoid fines. Kaweah is a horrible place to work. When an auth wasn’t obtained timely for an inpatient stay they convert the account to outpatient and bill for payment.

I'm the girlfriend of the patient. They need to have more than their medical license taken away they need to do jailtime. We have a 3 year old son together now has to grow up without a father.

I am a retired nurse, and as an old retired nurse even though my employment days are over I will always be a nurse. This should make every nurse, every former nurse, retired nurse and student nurse furious. You have to ask yourself why did these two want to become nurses? The patients life can literally be in your hands and you have to be willing to accept that responsibility and do the very best you can or get out of the field. It’s as simple as that. Where is their humanity? Where is the empathy? Or even the pride of practicing your craft well? I went to school with a small few that were clearly going into nursing thinking it would be easy money. I never thought that type would last, at least not at the bedside. Losing their license should be the very least of their consequences.

I went to the ED with a rectal fistula. When I got to the line, the clerk (who was subsequently fired), got real snippy with me. She told me go sit down in a rude condescending manner. I said I can’t sit. She said WELL THEN STAND!. Every time I’ve been in the ER. I’ve had some kind of problem with the staff. They’re rude and have no business working in hospital.

Former employee here as well I can speak for this and say that this is common among the ED lying and not taking responsibility for patients it was chaos in there. I hope these two get what's coming to them, I used to think they were great nurses but, I was wrong how dare they even lie to family about what happened they don't deserve to be nurses at all. I used to be happy to work there but they only care about rebranding their entire hospital CEO Gary Herbst and Diane cox have ran it into the ground. Im glad the state took fast initiative to investigate and not a second more they ruined their careers over something totally avoidable. There are great nurses in the ED but it's lack of proper management and directing that cause it downfall. I hope thats kaweah steps up their game and actually starts to take accountability for wrongdoings and focus more on patients than rebranding the place. Nurses that lie is worse than working with a nurse who's incompetent. To hell with HIPPA in this case why lie to a family what were they scared of oh I know they killed a man. Kaweah I hope you get your heads out of your asses and start doing your jobs everyone in HR and executives needs to be fired and replaced with more competent staff. I have high respect for CRMC it is one of the few great hospitals around here ,I also hope they keep a tight leash on Corwin I would hate for her to ruin the integrity of such a great hospital.

Well I hope they get what's coming to them I had two bad experience one with my grandson he was crying and screaming real hard I rested into the emergency room and went past everyone while he was crying went up to the receptionist counter thinking that he was a baby and that he should have urgent needs they told me to go wait at the back of the line the second time my husband was dying of cancer and he wasted all over his self and the examining room they left him for at least 45 minutes uncomfortable I began to clean up when they walked in they finished the job and I myself had an experience I went to the emergency room with bad stomach cramps and was so exhausted I closed my eyes only to hear a nurse male say look at that n***** I open my eyes and looked right at him he just looked at me and walked away
It's bad to hear that someone life was lost because of their negligence I pray that the family get what's coming

I had worked under HIPPA rules for many years in different facilities. As with everything when it comes to working in places where confidentiality is not just a right and guaranteed to all patients/clients/workers, a must these days in this world of with so many thinking that they have a right to any and all information they want to see and read, HIPPA has pros and cons. Luckily for me I never witnessed anything so egregious as what these two nurses did that I felt HIPPA be damned I am calling this one out. Mr. Barnes' character speaks for itself; strong, intact, and uncompromising. In this day and age it is rare to witness such traits. I hope he has been able to find gainful employment. As for Adventist Health Hanford and Fresno Regional Medical Center (a place I have the highest respect for) I hope they keep a short lease and close watch on these two employees, not just for the sake of your patients but also for the sake of your hospital credibility and liability.
