Not talking about a small family farmer where the bank will no longer make a personal loan to cover expenses due to loss of crops, farm equipment break downs, loss of his cows, bulls, sheep, chickens, pigs,etc. who is in fear of not being able to feed and clothe his family. I was referring large farming corporations. Perhaps you are being deliberately obtuse. Yes they work, but they have financial assets, they do not “require” aid. The financial aid just makes it “easier for them to recoup back their losses”. That’s a privileged handout. That’s a special political kickback that comes from political donations. I don’t begrudge it, that’s the way the game is played. One hand giveth and the other hand taketh. I also don’t begrudge my tax dollars going to those far less fortunate, in far dire straits, who don’t have a corporate lobbyist to do their bartering for them.

$9.8 billion in market relief payments for 20 covered crops.

$31 billion in natural and economic disaster aid for farmers and ranchers, along with a second extension of the 2018 farm bill.

Substantial disaster relief funding and another one-year extension of the 2018 Farm Bill.
