There are many things not specifically mentioned in the constitution that has helped this nation form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, and that we the people through our elected bodies of Senators and Representatives both State and Federal have enacted laws and policies to help this Republic become a more compassionate and caring United States. I am fortunate enough to able to pay for my supplemental insurance to go with my Medicare coverage. Between all of my out of pocket costs for insurance coverage and costs of medications that helps to keep me physically trucking and moving about it takes pretty much the majority of my monthly retirement pay. Having said that I am glad that those less fortunate than I have access to healthcare and I don’t begrudge that one bit…… because at the end of the day morally we are all are our brothers keepers or at the very least most strive to be. There but for the Grace of God go any of us. Ya never know what life is going to hand you….. try be grateful for what you do have and try to be more compassionate, sympathetic, and empathetic towards your fellow man.
