In this case there is most certainly deferential treatment being afforded to this wannabe dictator, a narcissistic immoral liar and cheater, not to mention sexual predator. When respect, faith and trust is lost in regard to our judicial system, all the way from the lower courts up to and through our State and Federal Supreme Courts we lose faith that this country will be able to hold on to our government and its institutions and our democracy. When Christian communities enable and advocate for a person of such ill repute then faith in God's word is in jeopardy because what we've got here is a complete and total failure of these Trumpian Christians to recognize someone who epitomizes a fundamental enemy and danger to the teachings of Jesus Christ who they profess to believe is their Lord and Savior. Just who do they believe in more? If Judge Merchan believed in what our justice systems claim to be he would have thrown Trump in jail after finding him in contempt for the 2nd time.
