First, they failed in notifying the T.P.D. right off the bat and to add insult to injury they outed the name of the alleged embezzler along with her confession before any lawful charges were formally made. They made themselves the victim, police, prosecutor, judge and juror all in the name of public transparency, aka in covering their a$$ of any wrongdoing of the embezzlement on their part. Where was the Board's attorney during all of this decision making? If he went along with this decision to go public in a press release before notifying TPD and waiting until an official arrest was made at a minimum and better yet charges were brought by the D.A., then this Board needs to reconsider who they take legal advice from. This is so armature hour. Thanks to their ineptness this woman may rightfully have a case for a change of venue. Justice delayed not just for Tulareans but for her as well as she is to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
