I agree with the people who are saying we need more development on the West side. When I bought my house I was told there was going to be a lot of building on the West side. I’ve been in my home for 24 years and there has been no improvement except the Sports Park on Prosperity, which is beautiful. There is a huge empty lot on West and Prosperity that’s had nothing on it since I bought my home. It’s a shame we haven’t been given the same consideration by the city to build more on the West side. We don’t even have a chain fast food place on this side of the tracks. I hope that will change soon.

I wonder if there are any takers for the vacant R & N Market on Bardsley and Blackstone. Good location and while the building is older and dated someone could come in and totally renovate it. We really could use a good grocery store in this area. Foods Co is the nearest grocery store on this side of town that is stocked well (much better than Target as their items are more limited and over priced).

I don’t know why Tulare is lacking in grocery stores. They need a Wind co . Tulare has alot people 60,000. I wish Mr. Nutley and the citizens of Tulare luck.

How about contacting TRADER JOE’S again? I think this business was considered at one time, but they decided that the “demographics” were not right for them.
The nearest TJ’s is 50 miles away in Clovis. They have unique and really good groceries, etc.
