Ignorance on any subject matter is always bad. Firearm safety and education is obviously has purpose purpose, prevention of accidents and violence.

I’m not sure if the comment about “no kiddie gun trainers” was an attempt at sarcasm or if they truly believe that hunter safety or firearm safety courses are a money grab. By that reasoning, driver’s training courses are a similiar money grab with no redeeming benefits. The majority of minor children obtaiing such safety training do not commit mayhem using a vehicle or a firearm to harm people. I would even suggest that some very graphic and realistic “virtual” video games carry more risk of encouraging gun violence more than a safety course would.

My heart breaks for these poor babies who can’t make a buck from children while teaching them how to shoot their peers in school or elsewhere, even giving them the chance, for just a few more blood dollars, to try all kinds of guns until the kids know which one works best for them.
