I here now again in the streets of Visalia my name is Veronica Mulvey again this is not my first time out here it now my 8 the year out year not 8 years strait. But 8 years but in the last say 10 years homeless I only been under a roof for about 2 out of 10 years that not include the five years prior to that in Tulare county Tulare City but in Tulare City I was told to get out of that City even though I was resident there at one point but I was evicted and to come to Visalia cuz they were missions here so they did I came here also my children were here then then that was 10 years ago I’ve been out here this time 3 months on dialysis and I’ve had two people try to get me into a program like Eden or the hotel or the homeless whatever can’t do it still out here I don’t have no legal problems but I’m harassed by the police the Hope team it’s a joke it’s a freaking joke I don’t even have a legal problem one as far as crime goes but I am isolated and treated disrespectfully and just like a dog by the police the Hope team it’s no hope there it’s a damn joke you taxpayers or who do pay taxes every year are paying for a bunch of men to walk around and fatigue and act like their s*** don’t stink and they’re better than everybody else and they can never end up out here and let me tell you what it wouldn’t take much to end up out here for anybody yeah my name is Veronica Mulveyand nobody is helping me I’m trying to help myself but it doesn’t seem to be working because I’m sure tomorrow when I go to cset I’m told there’s no funding or there’s this or that reason they can’t get me in somewhere that’s my opinion

Lenee is correct in what he says about visalia P. D. & The hope team. All they do is ticket you & make you leave the place your camped at with threats of arrest & impounding your animals. There are so many more people that are homeless & not on drugs than people realize. Rents have gone up to such a crazy amount and landlords/property management companys are being so particular that hardly anyone qualifies to rent. Theres places I looked at for rent back in dec./january that to this day are still empty. The visalia police are telling people to move their camps to tulare when asked where they can go and not be harrassed . Alot of the homeless just need a place to lay their head down and try to get some sleep so they can get up and do what they need to do to try and improve their situatuation. And in this extremely hot weather we’re having , i think its cruel to treat them the way visalia does. Give them a place somewhere that they can camp in peace where there is water to clean up in and portapottys to do what nature requires them to do andthe majority of homeless will have an easier time doing whats necessary to get out of that situation. Remember people, ” there but for the grace of god go I ” . it can happen to you, never forget that.

Then once your on your feet .. Family Law, Board of equalization, excessive taxes, out of control inflation. We now live in a vicious cycle of destruction. I liked the Country much better when God and good morals were top.
