It would be a tragedy of immense proportions if PP moved to a larger space only to squander the opportunity to provide this safe, necessary and high demand medical procedure. As for the mall's position that protestors would disrupt business, from the south end of the block to the middle is already the traditional protest point for any group of any view in the city, there have been protests with as many as 500 or more people there in the last 2 years alone, and no one has ever complained before. In fact, the Mall built Raising Canes literally in the center of the area where the protests are held. So that's a non-starter too. Don't be fooled by those who want to use the government to force you and your daughters, moms, sister and aunt too, to live by the tenets of *their* faith instead of living by the tenets of *yours*. We have the First Amendment *precisely* to prevent using government for these purposes. Let's all show up at this meeting to remind our elected officials of their duty to leave their faith out out our ordinances and regulatory decisions.
