Lets really get into the weeds......there's no blacks on the council either. Look, the people of the county have voted for who they want in the seats. Ol Pete seems to be the ace in the hole....no one even runs against him! Well a Mexican or Black run? Throw them out there, lets see who they are and their qualifications. Maybe they'll get voted in, maybe they won't. We all have Dolores Huerta's number.... It doesn’t matter how you slice the county up…….it’s who runs for the seats that matters.

Suddenly he's interested in "fair representation". Poor guy doesn't even know how suspect he is. Ha ha Brett Taylor, the councilman of Visalia, on a council where members said in open season a few months ago in response to public comments that’s it’s more mportant to have someone selected for an open position that “thinks the same way as the current members” rather than select someone that represents the actual demographics of the city.

Suddenly he’s interested in “fair representation”.
