This beautiful two story craftsman is our first apartment building, is a half block from the Fox and has fantastic style. It is difficult to understand how it was ever given a mere "background" designation. This is a significant loss to our downtown. When we lose our historic buildings we lose the anchors that bind our town to its history and that make Visalia unique and charming. This building should have had a “focus” designation at least.
