So if that is true, then what would you call the $16.5 million lawsuit filed by Councilman Greg Nunley? That was OK? Now he really thinks it will work in his favor to run again? SMH

Does anyone have a link to the document in question? Usually this paper is very good about posting the documents it reports on on document cloud or wherever.

Regardless of the outcome here, the record is now a public record unneeded CPRA, so why not share our and let readers see for themselves what the kerfuffle is about?

Tulare has become a cesspool! Cops, city council, the old hospital board, board of supervisors, the sheriff, who can you really trust to be honest? Downtown Tulare needs a lot of work, anyone on any board bringing this issue up? There’s a building on the east side of tulare’s city hall that has been empty for awhile, that would make a great homeless shelter! Sadly the Trumpvirus has created a big roadblock to move forward, but, even without this ugly virus would anything get any better in T Town? Wear your masks and keep your distance; no one wants your nasty spit all over them! Too many people don’t like hearing the truth, we should all check ourselves! This post is just an FYI, if you’re offended, it’s because you are part of the problem!

This seems to be a way of life..... the Tulare Way . Just waiting for the next shoe to drop. Crazy! Maybe the City of Tulare can sue to recoup their financial loss. Are there anything in the City's Bylaws on how to protect the City against the actions of a sitting council person? Probably not. City Bylaws probably need to be updated to be able to address matters such as these since there are people who think such rouge behaviors by their district representative toward the City is acceptable. The times are truly changing along with people's perceptions and expectations of what behaviors are appropriate and what are not by our elected officials.

The Tulare city council IS corrupt. You need look no further than nunleys little insurance scam, burning down his "mansion" and trying to sue the city he supposed to be helping. Now he's helping his buddies by shooting cash to the police who likely helped him file his bogus fire report.
