These are truly scary times and it looks like it's going to be for quite some time until a doable vaccination is created to combat the side effects of this virus. A virus I might add that we are still finding out daily about some of its horrific side effects let alone of its deadliness. Ignoring the virus isn't going to mitigate the danger of it. Denying the realness of it by simply claiming it is a liberal hoax isn't going to mitigate the danger of it. Downplaying and saying that it is only just another flu bug isn't going to mitigate the danger of it. For many the symptoms, thank God, are not even felt, to being mild, or a bad case of the flu BUT for those whose experiences has been far more devastating or even deadly should not be ignored or denied. There but for the Grace of God go any one of us as we continue to be at high risk and it is especially frightening for our own AND our children's health, welfare and safety. Wear a face mask, practice social distancing, and wash hands frequently. Our schools can educate via online classes and parents/caretakers MUST make sure that their children attend online classes each school day. Comcast, AT&T, and all the other internet providers should work together to make sure that no child/student is left behind and provide free internet services to school districts (who will provide each and every student, young or old with laptops). Local PBS TV stations can provide free channels for school classrooms as well. Don't know how all this works out but no one should leave any stone un-turned. This virus is going to take a long time to conquer so our leaders, corporations, and school districts need to think outside of the box to keep education in the forefront.
