The board of directors are truly senile. Adventist knows this hospital is a fail. In fact almost all hospitals are going to fail in the next few years.

At least Adventist is paying rent. Oh wait a minute ! They paid $10 million rent for 5 years up front, all spent to pay for lawyers and basic fixups required by the state. But the board collects a few million a year from us taxpayers. Marvelous revenue stream. It just shows up in the bank. But what happens in 2 years when Adventist has their own offices built and doesnt need the hospital anymore ? That day is coming.

As usual, nice reporting by Dave. Nobody else will tell the public who pays for this district what's up in this house of horrors. Certainly not the board members.

So the CEO of the central valley Adventist hospitals got busted for having her hands in the cookie jar and helping herself to the employees pensions. Its one thing for that faith based corporation to forgive. But should someone with such compromised ethics lead a health care company ? How dumb of me to ask...it is Tulare after all

The more you look, the more everything has stayed the same at good ol Tulare Hospital.

Adventist wanted in to Tulare County in the worst way. Now they set up there own clinics and put up buildings. Using their operating permits for Tulare Hospital I guess, they can charge far more than some of the local walk in clinics can. They have a lot of tricks up their sleeves. After all, they are ethically challenged. Guess that is ok if you pray a lot. Its just business.

Has anything really changed in Tulare ?
