For the life of me I can’t imagine it being worse but if so I don’t think you helped things much. Actions and words are quite telling. Hopefully things will get better with Caring Cause….they will either change and flourish or not.

Good to know that you “removed” yourself. The concerns that I previously spoke about were primarily based on attitudes and actions of you and a few of your fellow cohorts. At that time you where the acting webmaster for the groups Facebook page. It didn’t feel like nonsense to those who were on the receiving end of your “iron hand”. Since I long ago stopped following Caring Cause it is sad to hear that the “social warrior like behaviors” is still prevalent. It is a good group with a very important agenda of the beautification our cemetery, of which the need is and will continue to be perpetually ongoing. Hopefully the group’s focus will remain on beautification and not on oversight of the cemetery board. Boundaries need to be set and respected.

Initially, the actions of the Caring Cause Facebook page appeared genuine and altruistic. I was happy I found the page. They did some wonderful things to help the cemetery board and give the residents of Tulare a beautiful and dignified resting place. However, over time, it’s shifted to promoting personal agendas, ever-changing alliances – going from being against two historically difficult board members to being against the remaining and new board members as well as staff, executing personal vendettas, and promoting an adversarial relationship between the board and the page’s members, and by extension, the community. It’s all very dizzying. If the purpose of the page is to support the cemetery as it’s name indicates, they need to shift their mindset from social warriors to valued partners. They are doing more harm than good at this point and they could be so much more than that. They have great potential, but not in their current mindset and approach.

Sounds like a “Them Against Us” mentality has taken hold. This is a public cemetery not privately owned. Caring Cause did do some good and they can continue with the understanding that they have no legal standing to call the shots. Board chair and members need to understand that they are not the legal owners as well. Everyone is expendable in the long haul. Best they all remember that. Either work together for the common good or move on.

I requested access to participate in the meeting via teleconference to the so called office manager Lenore Castaneda through both email and the cemetery website. I was not afforded the opportunity nor did I receive the courtesy of any reply to my requests.
Lack of professionalism and common courtesy to the public continues.
In my opinion as a former Tulare Cemetery Board Chair much needed changes to office staff and board is quite overdue.

2 Board members chose to not attend. Aguilar is always complaining…”Caring Cause” DID accomplish some things, but it’s time it’s members move on.The cemetery’s look beautiful…AND stop with the hash..and rehash…
