PS. A lot of people don’t want to go to the mission. Because, a lot do drugs or drink and they have rules but what about a wife who flees an abusive relationship? A teenager or kid fighting with there parents? a older man with his wife? When I think of homeless people I think of people that are on drugs or drinking nd have no jobs but some are middle class working and need a place to sleep for the night. Going on the northside of town in the daytime let alone at night is scary to some people. Churches should never be closed because Gods heart is always open they preach!

Every church should be a warming center in Visalia and our nation. Homeless people should be told there going to go to a: church, the mission or jail. they shouldn’t be allowed to: get on others property, abandon homes, cause fires, steal take drugs and dirty the town. To me it’s not the governments job to help the poor– but the churches! I give St Paul’s church a big thank you and I think God knows there in the true sprit of Christmas.

Interesting that in it’s third year, St. Paul’s is still the only church in Visalia running such a facility. What’s up with that, other Visalia churches?

So why are they waiting another week to open the center ?. IT is COLD now.
