The vector of our story was the two suits brought against the city by Nunley, with the related news of his vehicular escapade. The Times-Delta, on the other hand, led with that, and only tangentially mentioned the suits. Take your pick.

First of all you only know what you read…. If they are blasting Greg’s name all over the media for speeding down Mooney why isn’t the name of the other driver being blasted as well…. hummmm sounds like they are all just out to get Greg….

I am angry. I thought the recent corruption being found in our national news did not infect us here at the local level. I was wrong. Councilman Blank, was driving 100 mph down Mooney Boulevard. In May, 2019. The VPD gives him a ticket and sends him home. Somehow, all of this is kept off the local radar until NOVEMBER, 2019. All of us know that if we were driving our Kias, Hyundais, Chevys and Fords down Mooney at triple digit mph, they would still be pumping daylight into our cells. This is wrong. Sad to see that Visalia is as corrupt as Tulare.

There is no reason for this man to stay on the city council. Citizens should stand and be counted. Citizens should be demanding that Nunley hand in his resignation. Public pressure is apparently the only real avenue left.
