The ignorance of others results in the death of many. They clearly do not have the expertise needed to implement a successful outcome. Euthanizing ever animal is not the solution to a very bad problem.

Mayor Lopez and his son running the town of Orange Cove like dictators. They don’t have any concern for the well being of the animals and their inhumane treatment by the city workers because they have ordered it done. They are only running the city to line their own pockets and don’t care about anything else. Mr. Lopez has been managing the town way to long and there needs to be someone else be elected Mayor. If a person treats animals badly, he doesn’t have concern for humans either. The animals are living being that give love and companionship to families and are part of the family. They should be treated as such. People in Orange Cove stand up and voice your opinion and get those animals taken care of properly, don’t let them be killed when homes can be found for them.

The mayor should be able to find a new person to run a humane animal control shelter quickly and effectively. Residents should demand it! In the meanwhile, I hope those that have allowed injured animals to die in the old shelter without treatment be prosecuted to the full extent of the law! Get your act together, Orange Cove!!! Be a model for good citizenship!

Shame on you for NOT addressing abuse ( which is ILLEGAL) and other infractions!!! This information is being put out there so people are aware. It’s not just falling on deaf ears. Again abuse at the hand of city workers, not treating animals at the vet and GOD forbid an animal with burns dying in an animal control vehicle for 2 days is INHUMANE and UNACCEPTIBLE!!!

There should be no reason why a city mayor can’t get a handle on something such as an animal control facility up and running humanly. The people of orange cove should have a say. Vote on another mayor or demand the one you have do something. Those animals are just as human as the people of orange cove. You wouldn’t treat your kids or your elderly like wise.

This is evidence Mayor Victor Lopez of Orange Cove is going straight to hell, the lowest level of purgatory for his soulless ways. People need to reopen the investigation into the allegations of corruption and mafia-like operations from past years.
