Saul, thanks for trying. I waited to respond back because the hearing was still goin on & here’s my thoughts

Zelensky was elected president of Ukraine & and has said several times he was not coerced or pressured.

Instead of going through all the bs, I’ll summarize simply by saying Volker, Sondland, Taylor, Vindman, & Hill’s testimonials were full of presumptions, assumptions, & second had listening and none of the witnesses could say when asked directly that there was an impeachable offense.

Whether you like our president or not, he has done more for Ukraine than our last president. As far as the Ukraine & the 2016 meddling: I wouldn’t trust The NY Times, let’s wait till all the evidence has come forth.

Trump has yet to take his salary, instead donating back to a different government dept. God Bless the US, our President, Senate & House.

Again thanks Saul, but I don’t see your airtight evidence.

In reply to <a href="https://www.ourvalleyvoice.com/2019/11/13/adam-schiffs-opening-statement-in-impeachment-hearing/#comment-26370">JG</a>.

Here is a short summary of whar Mulvaney admitted to and which the "readout" (not a precise transcript) indicates:

April 21 - Zelensky elected President of Ukraine.
May 1 - NY Times prints story about Rudy Giuliani's theories about Ukraine (not Russia like every single professional intel agency) being responsible for 2016 election interference. Trump and Trump Jr. help by tweeting the factless theory.
July 10 - White House meeting at which Ukrainian officials are told that investigations into Biden are required before Trump will meet with Zelensky. Fiona Hill, a National Security Council Russia expert, testified that the suggestion alarmed then-national security adviser John Bolton, who "immediately stiffened" and ended the meeting.
Separately, top National Security Council expert on Ukraine Alexander Vindman testified that Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland characterized the request for investigations by Ukraine as a "deliverable" -- and coordinated with Mulvaney, according to the transcript of his testimony.
Before July 25 Aid to Ukraiine gets frozen. Members of Congress start to ask why.
July 25 - Trump and Zelensky talk by phone, officially so that Trump can congratulate Zelensky on successful parliamentary elections. Trump repeatedly brings up investigations he'd like Zelensky to look into, including of interference in the 2016 election and the relationship between Burisma and the Bidens.
July 26 (next day) - Volker and Sondland meet with Zelensky in Kiev. They reportedly advise the Ukrainian leadership on how to "navigate" Trump's demands of Zelensky, according to the later whistleblower complaint.
An aide to Bill Taylor, the top US diplomat in Ukraine, overhears a phone call between Trump and Sondland in which Trump asks about the investigations, according to Taylor's later testimony.
Separately, Pentagon aides, according to the Cooper testimony, realize the holdup in aid is directly related to Trump's concerns about Ukraine and begin trying to legally justify holding the aid, which had been allocated by Congress.
September 1 - Willima Taylor texts Sondland and asks if security assistance, and not just a White House meeting, is conditioned on the investigations. In a subsequent phone call, Sondland, says Taylor, makes clear that everything is going to be withheld because Trump wants to put the Ukrainians in a "public box" and force the investigations on them.

Schiff has not "provided evidence". He has presided over judicial hearings at which evidence has been provided by witnesses under oath. The best evidence has come from Mick Mulvaney at a press conference at which he said, "We do it all the time" and "get over it."

Saul, I’m trying to be open minded about this impeachment of our president. Could you please help me with the “rarely seen airtight evidence” that Schiff has provided through this impeachment investigation? Perhaps bullet point the evidence of acts that’s would lead you and others. I not seeing it, but perhaps you can change my mind...

I am not so interested in opening statements by politicians as I am the witnesses. Rarely have I seen such an airtight case of proof.
Trump thinks the powers of the Presidency are his to abuse for his personal gain. I think he has failed in his oath of office.

The difference between Schiff''s opening statement and Nunes' is stark. History will not look back kindly on Nunes.
