Citizen journalism is great right up to the point it crosses the libel line and/or misstates facts to support a conclusion. This article is guilty of both cardinal sins and would have been promptly sent back to the author for a full rewrite by any mainstream news editor. The broader issue is that “corruption” is now the go-to claim for any applicant that doesn’t make the cut. I’m sure we’ll hear similar complaints in Fresno when their permit process opens up, if only because I’m already hearing them.

Ok so ive bouggt a house from a landlord who had a family renting the property, i offered him a sum for the property and removal of his tennants, i was unaware at the time i was bribeing someone but your article made me see what a scumbag i was for wanting something and having the means to pay for it. Sounds like fusyrione or whatever is a goody2shoes and wtf is a teen substance abuse center*? Bullshit 1 a means to make more victims out of kidsthat just need a job or a life way more than psycobabble, can someone under 21 overdose and die yes, is anyone under 21 ready or in need of being introduced to the “systym” that we should be rapidly dismantling and unconditioning people from being labled either as a criminal or a victim by society and teaching all the cops and lawersto see marijuana users as citizens with rights not untreated flawed sick people in need of a cure which in kings co means cps kidnappingtheirkids and holding them hostage until they feelyour suficently terrorized into compliance. Joke of an article hate mongering corporations. Corporations don’t equal corruption. Westcare is not a youth facility it’s a substance abuse center! I agreed with Hanfords lawyer. There are gas stations that sell alcohol near every school. I shouldn’t have to go out of my way to spend my money on a taxed product for a treatment facility for teens who have no idea about rock bottom. I’m a recovering alcoholic. It takes rock bottom of for a real change.
