“…the anti-SLAPP suit goes straight to the Fresno Supreme Court on appeal.” Please clarify where in Fresno the ‘Fresno Supreme Court’ is located and which branch of the government has jurisdiction, as I am not aware of it. The following courts are located within Fresno County: Fresno County Superior Court and the 5th District Court of Appeal, all under the jurisdiction of the State of California; and the United States District Court, under the jurisdiction of the United States Government.

The City of Coalinga seems to be following Suite by exercising the same desperate measures in attempt to silence their critics.
It becomes a major concern when small town government develops such a false sense of saying already that they feel their citizens constitutional rights do not pertain to them. This has not only outraged the citizens it has also led many to be fearful of retaliation.
A poll was recently taken where 100% of the voters were against using their tax dollars to support these type of self serving unjust tactics.
