Press Release from the Tulare County Democrat Central Committee

On behalf of the Tulare County Democratic Central Committee (TCDCC) we cordially invite you to join us in giving our newly re-elected California State Controller, Betty Yee, a big Tulare County welcome!

We are honored to have Controller Betty Yee as our Keynote Speaker. She is the State’s Chief Financial Officer and a native of San Francisco. Born to immigrant parents she attended San Francisco Public Schools and helped in the family business after school. Controller Yee rose up from minding the books of the family business to minding the books of the 5th largest economy in the world. Controller Yee has 35 years of experience in state and local finance and tax policy. As California’s 32nd State Controller, she provides sound fiscal control over the receipt and disbursement of public funds. We look forward to Controller Yee’s presentation and hope you can join us in welcoming her again to our area.

In addition, California dignitaries such as CA Board of Equalization Chair Malia Cohen and Vice Chair Tony Vazquez will be in attendance.

This year we are honoring our Democratic Mayors: Mayor Greg Gomez of Farmersville, Mayor Jose Sigala of Tulare and Mayor Martha Flores of Porterville.

Our 3rd Annual Fred Davis Dinner will be held Saturday, March 16th at the Lamp Liter Inn located at 3300 Mineral King Blvd., Visalia CA 93291. The event will commence with a “Meet and Greet” and a “No Host Bar” from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Dinner starts at 7:00pm. You can purchase tickets at: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/freddavis2019

As Chair of our TCDCC, I personally invite you to join us for an evening of celebration, inspiration, and activism.

Sincerely,

Ruth McKee
