First they promised to finish the hospital tower and build the second. Neither of these things happened. Then they almost got both hospitals closed because of poor management. One girl had gauze left in her after a surgery. Then they bounced paychecks and laid off the staff and closed Tulare's hospital for over a year. My friend still hasn't been paid for her work there in 2017 and hundreds haven't. Hundreds of thousands in back wages are owed to her and others still not paid. It doesn't surprise that Benzeevi saw his chance to pocket from the citizens of Tulare and enrich himself while the community suffered. Benzeevi has been preying on Tulare since 2013. Nobody is really interested in this any more. We have a hospital again! The district settled and agrees that is owes HCCA money. Apparently HCCA loaned its own money to keep the hospital solvent, from that stand point, when you owe money from someone, you can not say that they stole from you. As far as these transfer of funds, I am certain the Judge will figure it out whether if it was okay for HCCA to pay itself that way. This is old news. Nobody is really interested in this any more.
