Additionally, we are living on top of a million earthquake faults. Just look at what happened in Oklahoma. Before fracking they had practically NO earthquakes. Since fracking, they are having CONSTANT earthquakes. With our unstable fault lines, that is asking for a major disaster to happen. Of course the greedy powers that be, and who are the ones getting rich off of all this, don't care about any of that. They don't care about us running out of water, they don't care about polluting what little water there is, and they don't care about causing earthquakes that could turn into a major disaster for our population here.

No! No! No! One single Frack uses between 500,000 and 4 MILLION Gallons of water!!!!!! One single Frack! That is a lifetime's worth of water for one person, gone with one Frack. and here in California, where we are in constant drought conditions and barely have enough water for survival ourselves, this is about the most stupid idea I have ever heard. We must do something to stop this madness.

ISSUE: The extraction process results in some greenhouse gas emissions leakage.

ISSUE: Fracking may threaten human health by contaminating drinking water supplies.

ISSUE: Fracking operations are sometimes taking place near and around populated areas, with consequences for the local built and natural environments.

ISSUE: Fracking wells, drilled thousands of feet down, may change geology in a potentially negative way, leading to earthquakes.

With water already in short supply the enrichment of oil companies seems a poor second choice over using the same water for the benefit of California.

Are you fracking kidding me???!!! With the geological structure below the valley floor and all the faults nearby? Could be the most massive sinkhole ever opened once they extract what they want & leave the wasteland behind!
