Carlton Jones and the Attorney are more than just business people. It has been around Tulare they have been more than friends. Is this the payoff to the attorney for getting rid of Chief Hensley for investigating jones for fraud or his other misdeeds. Even this simple report Jones had put together was a LIE. I do know when Jones tries to go to the next level I will do whatever I can to stop this criminal.

Aww….you left out all the RVP discussion……which in my opinion is what they SHOULD do.
Is the issue of being knowledgeable of city functions in question? Are we getting to the point of needing a full time council?
They didn’t have any knowledge about what the League of Cities apparently put on the agenda…..opposing Tax breaks that the people vote in….like a soda tax.

You’ve got the three stooges (Jones, Castellanoz, and Nunley), a wannabe politician who is using the council as a stepping stone to get to a bigger and more prominent job with the State, and a very tired longstanding councilman all sitting at the helm of this City. Houston we have a problem here. The three stooges who seem to be in their own Oz Land have something going on with this hired gun who has been posing somewhat pitifully as a benevolent and knowledgeable City Attorney. Makes one wonder what their true agenda really is….they will say and do anything to justify keeping Phillips on the city payroll. Sigala and Macedo needs to pull back the curtain to expose just what the heck is really going on. If this attorney doesn’t have the background and knowledge in municipal law then why in the world was she hired in the first place other than being Carlton Jones personal attorney. Whoever votes in favor of retaining Phillips as the city’s attorney should be voted out of office.
