No matter what, we know for a fact that two separate police departments and the TCDA’s office had knowledge of these hideous crimes perpetrated against these vulnerable victims. There seems to be no shortage of a lack of follow up from these three agencies. I think it is safe to say that had the victims been children of “one of their own” the perpetrator(s) would have been dealt with swiftly one way or the other. This is a disgrace and a stain on the TCDA’s office and the Farmersville and Exeter police departments. No amount of excuses will change the fact that not one of these police departments and the TCDA’s office showed these victims and their families the same amount of concern or respect that they themselves would expect and demand to be shown if it had been one of their loved ones. Heck even the Tulare Co. Sheriff’s Department would have been brought in. Now everyone needs to get onboard and give these victims and their families the attention and justice that they need and deserve and that they should have received all along starting at day one.
