I have six or seven family members buried in this disgraceful cemetery. A cemetery that at one time was the most beautiful resting place I had ever seen. I drive over 1000 miles from Utah every year to visit my mother’s grave and every year it looks worse. Not only is it over grown with weeds, but broken glass, paper, garbage from the cans and just plain dirty. I try to talk with someone in the office and they dont have the decency to open the door. I go to Visalia to visit my father’s grave and think Tulare should come there and take a few lessons from the maintenance staff on how to keep a cemetery looking respectable. This is not an issue of lack of water, money or any other excuse. This is coming from the cemetery board right on down to those who are over seeing the staff on a day to day schedule. The husband and wife team needs to go. The caretaker needs to go and sounds like to me some of the board members need to go!!! Get the cemetery back to the beautiful place it used to be instead of the eyesore it has become!!!

I've complain, called plenty of times regarding the situation around my mother site and they told me they are to busy to keep up with the grounds. I, myself go out and do my own weed pulling and clean up around my precious mama site. I posted on my FB the way the area looked. Please do something about the situation.

I agree; the "pubic" in this situation is far too aggressive. ;-)

No one is irreplaceable....Mr. Ramos and Mr. Cunningham can be "retired" if they are no longer physically capable of handling all aspects that their positions requires. The cemetery has been going downhill for quite some time now. As far as watering rules....I thought that if new sod or seed is planted then it is okay to water each day until there is no longer a need to do so. There also is a need for security cameras as there are too many homeless people using the grounds as a hangout as well as vandalism inside the niche and around the grounds. Perhaps the groundsmen can pick up the slack in security needs (beats standing around leaning on shovels, etc. waiting for something to do). Sounds like it is time for Phil, Toni, and Patty to step aside for a more fresher and progressive approach in leadership.

Our cemetery is an embarrassment.
Not only the grounds but during the services the groundsmen are VERY close by waiting leaning on their shovels and tractor like buzzards waiting for the kill. No respect!
