As a former employee it sickens me what there doing to our community and there employees. Recently I had a conversation with an employee still there. Twice there paycheck bounced. How awful for the ones that are hanging on hoping that this mess get over with. The Hospital has been directed and operated by one individual since 2007. You can say there has been a board but Dr. Kumar works it all from his office, his car, the parking lot you name it. Is the home of Kumar's "friend" the same one that hosted the settlement discussion with the President of Harris Construction? The census and the hospital we have is a direct correlation to his leadership or lack thereof. I have documention that supports this same type of behavior from 2006. Sad part is his narcissistic behavior has gotten us to this situation. By the way, not one past board member wants to be in charge, after 20+ years the past board members recognize that for the hospital to ever be successful the first thing that must happen is Dr. Kumar needs to not be in charge any longer.
