These people need a basic coarse in economics. The reason sales tax revenue is going down is, (drum roll please,) because sales are down. Sales will drop even further with a sales tax increase. Do you take anything into consideration other than your administrative perks before you make these proposals? Our costs have gone up too without raises. That’s life.

You have the absolute right to hand the city your whole paycheck if you choose to. You do not have the right to demand that we do the same. I am tired of local tax extortion!

As a disabled citizen, this city gives me nothing but grief, so no new taxes please. Live on your present resources, as the rest of us must. Measure R has given me nothing as a non-driver. Enough is enough!

Again NO TO NEW TAXES!!! Measure T funds police and fire. Measure R funds roads. Plus it gives power to City Council to change spending to whatever they want with no citizen accountability.
