I am very suspicious Cox and Shuklian are both more interested in the salary rather than being altruistic. Also, remember sometime back when the supervisors blatantly violated the Brown Act. A salary of $100,000 and the county picks up the tab for their lunch WHILE they are violating the Brown Act. Seems no government official is held accountable for anything anymore.
