Benzeevi was never the CEO of the hospital because he doesn’t have the administrative experience one needs to do that position. He was the director. So what did he do? He jumped the dog creating an LLC and put himself in as CEO.
It was stated at the beginning of the project that Ido and his brother Benny would be doing this project. His brother in Moreno Valley was investigated by the FBI. He paid over 1 million dollars for the campaigns of 3 members of the city council to keep them on board to push his Skeetchers warehousing distribution center, even after the public voted it down.
Also the Hospital Board when they voted to have an oversight committee stated that they would stay on the project until completion not just until all the money ran out.
We can’t go on feelings on this one people. 50 million dollars is a huge amount to be unaccounted for.
Also from researching, we can’t even do another bond until the first one 2007A is paid off, which is about 15-17 million dollars. Is this what they need the additional funds for? Robbing Peter to pay Paul?

The concern is the past keeps repeating itself. How can you be confident that a group that has no prior experience in running a hospital and a board that has made poor decisions can be trusted with $55 million. A building is not going to make people have care in Tulare.

Everyone agrees this is horrible for the community but this is not about the employees or the care that is being given there. It is about the potential of $50 million dollars being unaccounted for. It seems like everyone should be worried about that whether they save lives or not. Saving a life does not give you the ability to deceive tax payers. Hopefully the employees understand that this is not about them but it is about accurate disclosure.

The story doesn’t even mention that none of this involved current hospital management. This is a typical one-sided story Valley Joke story, biased, trash reporting, so full of BS. What a joke. It doesn’t even mention the progress that’s been made on the new hospital building.

All I know is my cousin went to the ER at Tulare after a bad crash and they saved his life. The doctors and staff there are dedicated and talented. If we didn’t have Tulare Regional, where would he have gone? Delano? I hope this negativity doesn’t get anyone down who works there.

This isn’t the Tulare Regional I know. The hospital I know is filled with dedicated doctors, nurses and staff who provide fantastic service to their patients and to this community. If we didn’t have this hospital, we’d lose hundreds of jobs, not just the people that work there, but the businesses that the hospital’s employees support. If there’s no nearby hospital, people wouldn’t want to live here anymore, property values would fall, Tulare would become a ghost town. I didn’t read that in this story.

I have never been so disappointed in a organization in the past 10 years as I have been with Tulare hospital. As a ex employee that had voiced concerns while I was there about the treatment of the employees.
They have done nothing but take away from long time employees to make it look as if they had turned a profit. Taking away there sick time and pocketing 1.3 million dollars from it. This is just one of many.
I lost my job, they said lay off, by being to vocal. I really wish I could put into words how it feels to be run over and thrown under the bus.. Many times.. This is my thorn.. Still upset after all this time…
