Being a republican area it's funny how there is not a tax these local so called "conservative republicans" don't love. Why don't they cut the CEO of Kaweah Delta salary 1st (I think he makes like $400,000 a year or more?) and other top salaries in the hospital and in the city the police chief and city manager and other big shots in the and even cut the big retirements people make from the city before they ask the voters for more taxes?? Don't they know Tulare co is the "food stamp" capital of California and has one of the highest unemployment rates? And, why spend more money to arrest and re-arrest the same people. Learn how to run the: prisons, jails and courts first! Vote no on hospital and city tax!
