Anything to get more doctors into this woebegotten region should help keep the "self payers" (uninsured) from continuing their exodus to out-of-town medical offices, because local ones won't accept self-pay, Medicare or Medi-Cal patients. Just know it'll cost you some. There's a polling outfit that's calling Visalia residents right now to find out just how willing you'd be to vote on yet a new tax measure to "expand" KDHCD services and facilities--just ten years after the last measure, for which we property owners are still paying a yearly assessment. :-D It all sounds good, right?
