I've recently been threatened by the TCAC to impound my dog if I don't take him to the vet within 48 hours....not for any injury, he has all his shots....he has a rash on his paws that TCAC didn't take pictures of because it would show up in pictures, while there he proceeded to undermine my care of my dog, who took a bite of cat food to the udder astonishment of the animal control idiot who tried to act like a dog taking a bite of dried cat food was some kind of crime, maybe to the cats , I also walked across the street to put my dog in the car and was told by this man that I need to keep the dog on the grass because the road was too hot, my dog showed no signs of distress while I walked across the street with him (he showed no distress at anytime) and I really feel like TCAC made everything I did seem abusive because of this officers exaggerated reactions to basically normal things...it's was Friday and I told him I would not be paying the outrageous charges for the emergency vet that was the only thing open for the next 48 hrs, and he told me that " technically it's 2 business days so I had Monday and Tuesday. With the threat of impounding my dog with a written notification with instructions stating exactly within 48 hours , technically he is wrong not to change the wording and I'm not playing this game with them, my dog is well taken care of and would be devastated if he was taken from us his our previous animals live for 16 and 17 years that doesn't occur with animals not being properly cared for.

Just to update folks, Mr. Fabricius had his case closed on him without any real opportunity to be heard. Meanwhile, the Wendy Jones case continues. It becomes an interesting fact that many of the diacriticals of Ms. Jone's case are identical (same persons and places) as Mr. Fabricius' case. Considering the local shelter has already been busted for scheming off the public to sell carcasses, seems there may be a return to this problem (or perhaps it never went away). The public in the area needs to be aware of what is happening so that folks and their fur family members are safe. In Tulare County it would appear they may not be. Particularly the disabled, who often rely more heavily on animals for their daily needs.

I would like to see everyone who has connection with running this shelter charged with abuse for every animal they have killed or let die. I would also like them discharged immediately and replaced by honest caring individuals. This is sickening to be me . To treat any animal this way is sociopathic and it needs to stop . NOW

His dogs weren't seized so much as stolen without due process. Very poorly taken care of so that many died outright, and then the rest killed subsequent to proceedings that Mr. Fabricius was never notified of.
And for the record, I've never heard him refer to himself ever as "the Animal Husband". Weird untruth for you to assert. Your reference to livestock suggests you have specific knowledge of the matter, and your sound-byte slander tactic heavily resembles County Counsel. Which wouldn't surprise me since all I've seen from that office is a steady effort to bury the truth of this and Wendy Jone's case under character slander of Fabricius and systemic fraud. I guess the hope is that no one will look closer, but that is already happening. It just breaks my heart that so many animals have been murdered by TCAC for profit and County Counsel just covers it all up. And not very well, I might add.

That was the initial claim based on nothing but a hunch. It was later disproved by events which were subsequently reported to the Sheriff's Department, which now refuses to provide Mr. Fabricius with even one copy of any of his own reports. They know they jumped the gun and killed twenty-nine of his dogs for something coyotes did.

Mr. Fabricius' dogs were vicious and killed livestock. He calls himself the Animal Husband and TCAC was justified in seizing his animals.

The dispositive issue here is meaningful, effective oversight and accountability of Tulare County government employees. And there is none. Instead, you have a classic code of silence and the cover up of misconduct, if not criminal activity. Among other obvious violations of law and government employee ethical standards, the taxpaying citizens of Tulare County are being denied the right to honest government services, a federal crime under 18 USC 1346. With any luck, the federal government will get involved and conduct a thorough investigation. People should go to jail, including and especially Judge Saucedo and the rest of the redneck peckerwoods that operate the ultimate - albeit hopelessly corrupted - oversight authority, the county court system.

The government does not have the right to make false allegations, call them facts, then prosecute you without evidence. As illustrated in this story, a county agency using obscure laws have committed a crime by stealing Mr. Fabricius' pets and killing them, under the color of law. That's a civil rights violation. Thanks to the author and the publication for covering this important story.
