Tachi Palace to Present Lee Greenwood and Crystal Gayle on December 11

Lee Greenwood and Crystal Gayle will bring their Christmas Show to Tachi Palace in Lemoore on Thursday, December 11.

Greenwood has more than 30 albums to his credit. His #1 songs and other charting singles include: “It Turns Me Inside Out,” “Ring on Her Finger, Time on Her Hands,” ”She’s Lyin,” “I Don’t Mind the Thorns if You’re the Rose,” “Dixie Road” and “Somebody’s Gonna Love You.”

Greenwood has won numerous industry awards including: Male Vocalist of the year for the Academy of Country Music in 1983, two Male Vocalist of the Year awards from the Country Music Association, and a Grammy for Top Male Vocal Performance in 1985 for “I.O.U.” He also won CMA Song of the Year in 1985 for writing “God Bless the USA,” voted the most recognizable patriotic song in America.

Gayle’s first #1 was “I’ll Get Over You,” which was followed two years later by another chart-topper, “You Never Miss A Real Good Thing (Till He Says Goodbye).” In 1977, she became a household name when “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue” perched atop the country charts for four weeks and climbed the pop charts in America and around the world.

Gayle won back-to-back female vocalist honors from the Academy of Country Music in 1976 and 1977 and from the Country Music Association in 1977 and 1978.
