Sons of the San Joaquin Return to Visalia Fox for Holiday Concert

The Sons of the San Joaquin
The Sons of the San Joaquin

The Sons of the San Joaquin will return to the Visalia Fox Theater for an afternoon of Christmas and Holiday favorites at 3pm on Saturday, December 13.

The Sons are known for their upbeat, airtight three-part harmony and original cowboy material, written by Jack Hannah. The ensemble today is Jack and his brother Joe Hannah, and Joe’s son Lon.

The Sons’ sound first took shape in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where the Hannah family had moved from Depression-era Missouri. They have been performing and recording since 1989 and have won many awards, including multiple awards for Traditional Duo/Group from the Western Music Association. They were inducted into the Western Music Association’s Hall of Fame in 2006.

Tickets for the popular Christmas tradition are $19-$23 and are available online at www.foxvisalia.org or by calling 625-1369.
